Our story began like this...

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a young woman named Alessia who decided to embark on a vacation with her friend María. Their destination was Playa del Carmen, Mexico, a place where Alessia never imagined she would find anything more than sun, beaches, and relaxation. But as destiny often has its own plans, the trip to Mexico became inevitable.

A month before their departure, María, with her lively and adventurous energy, suggested changing hotels. Alessia, feeling nervous and stressed, thought it would complicate their trip even further. But after searching tirelessly, Alessia found the perfect hotel—one that seemed straight out of a Caribbean dream, with palm trees that whispered tales of love under the sun.

On their first day, they arrived at the resort and dove into the tranquil waters of the pool. It was there that Oscar, a young man with an enchanting gaze, saw them for the first time. And, as if by magic, their fates were sealed.

The next day, they had their first meeting, but surprisingly, Alessia didn’t feel a spark of magic in that moment. Quite the opposite!

But destiny wasn’t done playing its cards. The following day, while playing volleyball, Oscar let the ball fall near Alessia, using it as the perfect excuse to approach her and ask if she wanted to join the game. Alessia, completely mesmerized by his charm, said no. Yet something inside her had already begun to change.

A few days later, Oscar tried again, and although Alessia said no once more, they flirted, and she even playfully stole his sunglasses as the perfect excuse to see him again!

That very evening, destiny brought them together once more in the hotel lobby. It was Día de Muertos, and Oscar, ever the hopeless romantic, handed her a black rose.

In an inexplicable moment, they embraced and, with a sigh, parted ways. The next day, they met again, this time to enjoy a night out together. From that night on, their hearts never looked at anyone else.

The magic continued. Alessia and María decided to extend their trip by one more week, and as if by some miracle, their flight change came at no extra cost. Everything seemed to align perfectly for them.

Three days later, Alessia realized she couldn’t let Oscar go. Distance wouldn’t be an obstacle. Filled with courage, Alessia asked a question that would change their lives forever:

—Would you like to come with me to Spain?

And from that moment, their “I do” began.

A “yes” filled with magic, love, and a destiny that had brought them together in the warm waters of the Caribbean.
